GlobalCybers Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026 · Governing law: Illinois · Applies to globalcybers.com and all related subdomains, forms, and tools.

This Privacy Policy explains how GlobalCybers LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, submit a hiring brief or candidate profile, use our free salary and career tools, or otherwise interact with our permanent-placement staffing services. Please read it alongside our Cookie Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Who We Are

GlobalCybers LLC ("GlobalCybers", "we", "us", or "our") is a permanent-placement staffing firm and intent-based talent network for professionals, headquartered at 159 N. Sangamon Street, Suite 200, Chicago, IL 60607, United States. We serve employers and job seekers across all 50 U.S. states. GlobalCybers is the data controller responsible for personal information processed through our site. Questions: info@globalcybers.com · +1 (773) 729-6444(Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CT).

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to personal information we collect through globalcybers.com, our hiring-brief and candidate-registration forms, our salary/paycheck calculators and guides, email and phone communications, and our recruitment and placement services. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, or to the internal HR practices of employers who hire candidates through us — those employers are independent data controllers of any data they receive.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you submit a hiring brief, candidate profile or career-intent form, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, employer or company name, job title, role and location preferences, credentials and licenses, work-authorization status, salary expectations, and any other details you choose to share (for example, a resume or message).

Information collected automatically. We collect standard server-and-device data such as IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps, via cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.

Information from third parties. We may receive information from professional references you provide, publicly available professional profiles, state licensing boards (to verify credentials), background-check providers (with your consent, where a placement requires it), and our analytics providers.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to: (a) respond to hiring briefs, candidate registrations, and enquiries; (b) match job seekers with permanent employment opportunities and present qualified candidates to employers; (c) verify credentials, licenses, and work authorization required for a role; (d) send transactional and service communications related to your submission or placement; (e) operate, secure, and improve our website, guides, and calculators; (f) send optional newsletters and career/hiring insights you have subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time); and (g) comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising targeting.

6. How We Share Your Information

With employers and candidates. To deliver placements, we share relevant candidate information with prospective employers, and relevant role information with candidates, consistent with the service you requested.

With service providers (processors). We share data with vetted vendors who process it on our behalf — hosting, email delivery, analytics, background-check and credential-verification providers, and payment processors — under contracts that limit them to our instructions.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the rights, safety, and property of GlobalCybers, our users, or the public. In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred subject to this policy.

We do not sell or rent personal information to data brokers.

7. Employer & Candidate Data in Our Staffing Services

When GlobalCybers presents a candidate to an employer, that employer becomes an independent controller of the candidate data it receives and is responsible for handling it lawfully. Employers must use candidate data only to evaluate and contact the candidate about the specific role and must not repurpose or retain it beyond what is necessary. Candidates may ask us at any time to stop sharing their profile with new employers by emailing info@globalcybers.com.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies for site and form functionality and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our guides and tools. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can manage your preferences at any time. For a full description of the cookies we use, their purposes, and how to control them, see our dedicated Cookie Policy.

9. Data Retention

We retain employer briefs and candidate registrations for 24 months from the date of last activity, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, tax or employment records) or you request earlier deletion. Aggregated, de-identified analytics data may be retained indefinitely. You may request deletion at any time by emailing info@globalcybers.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

10. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to your location and applicable law, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and receive a portable copy of the data you provided. To exercise any right, contact info@globalcybers.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

11. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the purposes for collection, and the categories of parties with whom we share it; to request deletion or correction; and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. GlobalCybers does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted by law. To exercise your rights, email info@globalcybers.com; we respond within 45 days (extendable once by a further 45 days where permitted). You may use an authorized agent to submit requests.

12. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. We honor these rights on the same basis described above. Where a state provides an appeal process for a declined request, we will inform you how to appeal.

13. EEA / UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights described in "Your Privacy Rights" above under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Because GlobalCybers operates in the United States, personal data will be processed in the U.S.; see "International Data Transfers" below. Our lawful bases are described in section 5.

14. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for individuals aged 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact info@globalcybers.com and we will delete it.

15. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption for data in transit, access controls and least-privilege permissions for data at rest, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law. Report a suspected security issue to info@globalcybers.com.

16. International Data Transfers

GlobalCybers is based in the United States and processes personal information there. If you access our services from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of EEA/UK personal data.

17. Third-Party Links & Services

Our site links to third-party resources such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, state licensing boards, and certification bodies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing them information.

18. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for DNT, our site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do not track users across third-party websites for advertising in any case.

19. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective & last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of globalcybers.com after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
