GlobalCybers Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GlobalCybers website (globalcybers.com), our free salary, paycheck, career, licence and certification guides and tools, and our permanent-placement staffing services. By using the site or our services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using globalcybers.com or any GlobalCybers service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies referenced in them. If you use the services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity.

2. Definitions

"GlobalCybers", "we", "us", "our" means GlobalCybers LLC. "Site" means globalcybers.com and related subdomains, forms, and tools. "Services" means the Site plus our recruitment, staffing, and placement offerings. "Employer" means a party seeking to hire talent. "Candidate" or "Job Seeker" means an individual seeking employment. "Content" means all text, data, guides, calculators, and design on the Site.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use our Services. The Services are intended for users in the United States. By using the Services you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and current.

4. Our Services

GlobalCybers provides: (a) informational salary, career, licence, and certification guides sourced substantially from publicly available U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) OEWS data; (b) free salary and paycheck-calculation tools for reference only; and (c) permanent-placement staffing services β€” including RPO, Direct Hire, Contract-to-Hire, Executive Search, Staff Augmentation, and On-Demand placement β€” for qualifying employers and candidates across all 50 U.S. states. Paid staffing engagements are governed by a separate written service agreement between GlobalCybers and the employer or candidate; if that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the service agreement controls for that engagement.

5. Accounts & Registration

Some features require you to submit a hiring brief or candidate profile or to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials. Notify us promptly at info@globalcybers.com of any unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access at our discretion for conduct that violates these Terms.

6. Terms for Employers

Employers must provide accurate role, location, and compensation information and must evaluate candidates lawfully and without unlawful discrimination. Candidate information provided by GlobalCybers may be used solely to assess and contact the candidate for the specific role, must be kept confidential, and must not be shared, resold, or added to a database for other purposes. Placement fees, guarantees, and payment terms are set out in your service agreement. Circumventing GlobalCybers to hire an introduced candidate outside the agreed terms is a breach of these Terms and the service agreement.

7. Terms for Job Seekers

Job seekers must provide truthful information about their experience, credentials, licenses, and work authorization. Submitting false or misleading information may result in removal from our network. GlobalCybers provides introductions and does not employ candidates placed with employers unless expressly stated; your employment relationship is with the hiring employer. Our Services to job seekers are free of charge.

8. Fees & Payment

Use of the Site, guides, and calculators is free. Staffing services for employers are provided for the fees stated in the applicable service agreement (for example, flat-fee RPO or a placement fee). Fees are due per that agreement. Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable; placement guarantees, where offered, are governed by the service agreement.

9. No Guarantee of Placement or Employment

GlobalCybers does not guarantee that any candidate will be placed, that any role will be filled, or that any particular compensation will be offered or achieved. Introductions, shortlists, and matches are made in good faith based on the information available. Hiring decisions rest solely with the employer, and acceptance of any offer rests solely with the candidate.

10. Acceptable Use / Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or discriminatory purpose; (b) post false, misleading, or infringing information; (c) scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy Content or data except as expressly permitted; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with their operation; (e) upload malware or engage in any activity that harms the Services or other users; or (f) misrepresent your identity or affiliation. We may investigate and take legal action against violations.

11. Accuracy of Information

Salary figures on the Site are derived from BLS OEWS data and, where indicated, GlobalCybers-verified placement medians, and are provided for reference only. They are not a guarantee of pay or employment terms; actual compensation depends on employer, location, experience, and market conditions. Licence and certification details are general guidance and must be verified with the relevant state licensing authority or certifying body before you rely on them.

12. Intellectual Property

All Content on the Site β€” including guide text, editorial analysis, page design, calculators, and the GlobalCybers name and logo β€” is owned by GlobalCybers LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. Underlying BLS data is U.S. government data in the public domain; our selection, organization, and presentation of it is proprietary. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Content without our prior written permission.

13. User Content & License

You retain ownership of the information you submit (for example, a resume, brief, or profile). By submitting it, you grant GlobalCybers a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, and share that information as necessary to provide the Services (including presenting candidates to employers) and as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to share the information you submit.

14. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site links to third-party resources such as the BLS, state licensing boards, and certification bodies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or their practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

15. Disclaimers of Warranties

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that information (including salary data) is complete or accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBALCYBERS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID GLOBALCYBERS IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD $100.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GlobalCybers LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your Content, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.

18. Equal Opportunity

GlobalCybers LLC is an equal-opportunity staffing firm. We do not discriminate, and we require employers using our Services not to discriminate, on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. Placements are based on qualifications, credentials, and fit for the role.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

20. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section below, any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before starting any formal proceeding, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution for 30 days after written notice.

21. Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver

Except for claims that may be brought in small-claims court or for injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, any dispute not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration administered in Cook County, Illinois under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You and GlobalCybers waive the right to a jury trial and agree that claims will be brought only in an individual capacity, not as part of any class or representative action. Where this section is unenforceable, the governing-law and venue section applies.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Effective & last updated" date reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

23. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any applicable service agreement, are the entire agreement between you and GlobalCybers regarding the Services. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).
