OCN — Oncology Certified Nurse — is the core specialty credential from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. Eligibility requires an unrestricted RN license, two years of RN experience with at least 2,000 hours of adult oncology practice in the last four years, and 10 contact hours of oncology continuing education. The exam covers care continuum, symptom management, oncologic emergencies, treatment modalities and survivorship; renewal runs on a points-based CE system.
