That is 0.9% below the $48,070 national median — effectively level, and Florida takes no state income tax out of it.

Naples-Marco Island at $57,260, then Punta Gorda at $51,020, Jacksonville at $50,270, North Port-Bradenton-Sarasota at $48,190 and Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach at $47,860. Naples leading by nearly ten thousand dollars over the state median reflects a wealthy private-pay dental market with a small local labour pool.
