Colorado EMTs earn a median $45,750 a year, $22.00 an hour, per BLS OEWS May 2025, with the middle half between $40,100 and $49,930 and a full range of $38,370 to $58,320. That is 2.9% above the $44,470 national median — a thin premium in a state with Colorado's cost of living.

Fort Collins-Loveland at $48,220, then Colorado Springs at $46,180, Grand Junction at $45,860, Denver-Aurora-Centennial at $45,750 and Boulder at $44,660. The whole table spans under four thousand dollars, and Boulder — the state's costliest housing market — sits at the bottom of it, which is worth knowing before taking a job there.

Colorado certifies.
